I just uncovered this great article from the Huffington Post. It's Jody R.R. Smith's Top Twelve Tips To Saving Time in 2009.
While I like all of the tips listed I think my favorite is #2 Name Your Neutral. Many of the other tips she lists I was already aware of and many I have posted on this blog however this one was new to me!
Here it is:
"Name Your Neutral ~ Whether it is navy, black, or brown, build your work wardrobe around one neutral color. This will allow you to have a stable set of accessories that always match and save you the time of switching things back and forth."
I love this idea! While I think it may be tough to stick to just one neutral I can definitely see focusing in on say black and gray or brown and navy. This would provide some variety but still create a fast and easy way to put together outfits.
