So how do you make money? By paying your bills when they are due means you get to hang on to your money longer which means you will earn more interest from your bank.
The longer your money is in your account, the more interest you will earn. So schedule your payment a day or two before it's due (this insures that it gets processed on time so you don't incur late charges) but no more than that. This way you will make as much as possible on your money before your have to hand it over.
