WORKADAY TIP #102: Eye Make-up Techniques

I can't remember where I learned this tip but it's a good one!

Most people know that you should curl your eyelashes before you put on mascara.  But did you know that you should also curl your lashes BEFORE you put on your eye shadow and eyeliner? 

If you put your eye make-up on before you curl your lashes, you won't rub it off with the curler.  It means your make-up will stay on and the lines will be nice and clean. 

So your order should be this: 

1. Curl lashes
2. Put on eye shadow
3. Apply eyeliner
4. Then apply Mascara

WORKADAY TIP #101: Socks With Leggings

If you ever wear socks with your leggings, you'll benefit from this tip. 

Put your socks on BEFORE you put on your leggings.  This will keep your socks smooth so you won't have a sock bump or roll underneath your leggings.  Not only does this ruin your leg line but it's also awfully uncomfortable underneath boots.

WORKADAY TIP #99: Pop Up Travel Brush

This is by far one of my best beauty finds. 

The Pop Up Travel Brush is a mirror and brush in one!

The Amazon description says it best:

"The perfect travel companion, this chic, mirrored compact opens to reveal a pop-up brush inside. Simply flip open the mirror and press your thumb against the bottom of the compact to pop out the brush. To close, gently press on the bristle tips with the center of your palm to retract the brush."

It takes up little to no room in my bag and allows me to discretely brush my hair whenever I need to.    If you read my convertible clothes post, you'll know that I am a big fan of products that are multi-functional so for me, this product is a must have!
