So we all have to deal with email spam clogging up our inbox. What we don't have to deal with is email subscriptions clogging up our inbox.
If you're like me, you've likely ended up on a variety random email lists. Perhaps you forgot to opt-out when buying something online or may be you signed up for a list that seemed interesting at the time and then you realized that maybe knitting wasn't for you after all.
The point is, I started looking at the amount of time I spend deleting email newsletters and alerts alongside the time it takes me to filter through them to get to the emails I actually want to read and realized I am wasting a lot of time.
So my advice to you? Take the time to un-subscribe from unwanted email lists. By removing yourself from those daily and weekly email messages you'll save time and it will be easier to get to the emails you actually care about!
The same goes for email notifications from social media sites like Facebook. Go into your profile and un-check the alerts. Unless, you really care about the 40 other people's comments to your friend's wedding picture, I say get rid of them!
